New mom of Bollywood, Dia Mirza has treated fans with a special picture on Instagram on the occasion of World Elephant Day. The actress gave fans a glimpse of her newborn baby boy Avyaan dressed in in a white onesie with elephant motif all over. She shared the picture on her Instagram story along with the caption, ‘We are celebrating #WorldElephantDay’. Check out below:

Dia Mirza also shared her selfie, posing with her hand on her cheek and with a soft smile.

Dia and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed their first child Avyaan on May 14. However, the couple announced their baby’s birth in July sharing that he was born premature. Sharing a picture of her baby’s hand in hers, Dia wrote, “To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone, ‘To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.’ These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav & my feelings right now. Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU."

While Avyaan is Dia’s first child, her husband Vaibhav is also father to a daughter Samaira from his first marriage.

Earlier this year, Dia married businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in a low-key wedding attended by family and close friends of the couple.

The actress later announced her pregnancy in April this year. She shared the happy news by posting a picture that saw her cradling her baby bump. Brimming with joy and excitement, Dia penned a heartfelt verse that read, “Blessed to be... One with Mother Earth...One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything... Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope.Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb.”
