New Delhi: Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar are pregnant. Yes! You heard that right. At a media event of her upcoming film 'Article 370', Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar were welcomed with a procession of dhols. A pap video of the same had been doing the rounds on social media in which a visibly pregnant Yami walks on the stage accompanied by her producer-partner Aditya Dhar as they smile at the paps.
Earlier, a Hindustan Times report confirmed that Yami Gautam was about five and a half months pregnant. The publication quoted a source close to the development as saying, "Yami is extremely ecstatic ever since she learnt about her pregnancy. It’s going to be most probably a May baby. The family had been keeping everything hush hush until now.”
“Yami and Dhar are going to announce it soon, since she will also be promoting her next thriller now. She is the lead and he is producing it. So it makes sense to clear the air officially as it will already be evident to people. They can’t wait to share the news with the world,” the report added.
Yami Gautam's recent public appearance with Dhar also sparked rumors about her pregnancy as she was seen covering her belly with a dupatta. Now, it seems that the rumours have been confirmed.
On June 4, 2021,Yami and Aditya married after dating for more than two years. They fell in love after meeting on the sets of 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' (2019).
Meanwhile, Yami conducted a LIVE session on social media with her fans where she spoke about doing action in 'Action 370' among other things. During the same, she shared, "I don't think before this film, anyone ever considered me for an action film. With 'Article 370', I stepped into the action genre for the first time and everything happened on the right time. Of course, action has variations, like it's very stylize, cinematic, and aspirational but this film is realistic, so we kept it very close to how it happens in real life vs trying to project too hard. When you are doing something for the first time many questions arise be it nervousness, not doing anything wrong, time barriers how the film needs to be finished on time. But things weren't that difficult for me. I had a great time, I had a blast. And one of the most special experience was to visit the NSG center. They are kind enough to give permission, expressing experience of the first shot like while I had to fire I was red and full of joy. One of the Important things i learnt was the breath work, if you have your breath in control, you will never miss the mark. It improves my control and target correctly."
