Shalini Passi became a sensation after her debut on 'Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives'. During the show, Passi revealed that she is quite close to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. This created quite some intrigue within the entertainment industry and among many fans who wanted to know more about their friendship. Later, Shalini revealed in interviews that Sanjay and Gauri were neighbours in Delhi and that he went to school and college with Shah Rukh Khan.

In a recent interaction, Shalini spoke about how the Bollywood's power couple gave her strength. Shalini told Barkha Dutt, "Sanjay grew up with them (SRK and Gauri Khan) and he is extremely good with relationships, whereas I am sort of floating. I am very moody. He is great at keeping in touch with people, whereas I am not. I am there for you 100%, but also moody about it."
Howeve, with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, Shalini's equation is quite different. She added, "They are very solid people from Delhi, who have made it big in Bombay. But, they have stayed in touch with all their friends which is quite incredible. Gauri has given strength to me. I got married when I was very young and she is someone who always spoke her mind. This was a big thing for me. I know she is coming from good place, I knew I could trust them. What they give me, I knew was 100% genuine."
Shalini Passi praising Gauri
Earlier, in an interaction with India Today, Shalini said, "Gauri, being from Delhi and with her father being in the army, has this amazing quality of remaining grounded. It’s rare to maintain that in our industry. Gauri is a very solid person, whether it comes to her family or her friends. When she visits Delhi, she always makes it a point to meet her school and college friends and spend time with them. It’s truly a pleasure to know her and the entire family."
Shalini also revealed that Gauri Khan had also shared her feedback with her on her Netflix debut in the Fabulous Lives show. She told News 18, "The most special reaction came from Gauri. She called me while I was in Bombay, just before Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party," Shalini recalled. “She said, ‘I’ve seen it. It’s amazing. You’re incredible.’ She was genuinely concerned for me, and when she told me how much she loved the show, it really touched my heart. Gauri knows me better than most, so hearing that from her was very special."
