New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput posted adorable Instagram photos to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary on July 7. The actor posted a touching note about his wife along with a photo of them kissing on Instagram. On social media, Shahid shared an unseen picture of himself and Mira taken during a recent vacation. 

“In a sky full of stars... I gave you my heart… go on and tear me apart… you will only find you in my heart (please don’t kill me because I made up my version of your favourite song). Happy anniversary my wife for life,” the actor wrote in the caption.

On other hand, Mira Rajput also wrote a sweet note for her husband-actor Shahid Kapoor.  She posted a picture of them taken elsewhere. In the picture, Shahid can be seen beaming as Mira kisses his cheek as they stand on a beach.

Shahid recently talked about the first thing he noticed about Mira in an interview with Mid-day. “First thing I noticed about Mira when me and her met, she was all of 20 years old, I was 34 and I was a little embarrassed. I was like ‘Okay, she is really young’. I was happy to meet anybody and connect. And when I met her, she was not at all affected by the fact that I was an actor,” Shahid said.

“That was the first thing that I was like, ‘Wow, she is all of 20 years old and she is just so normal and she really doesn’t care’. Because you can make out the difference when you meet people who are acting like they don’t care but they are very affected,” he added.

Shahid Kapoor got married to Mira Rajput in 2015. A year later, in August, Misha, their daughter, was born. They welcomed their son Zain in the year 2018.
