Salman Khan firing case: A chilling directive to instill fear in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was issued by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. According to a chargesheet filed by the Mumbai police, Anmol instructed one of the shooters involved in the attack outside Khan's Mumbai residence to fire shots in a way that would terrify the actor.
Shooting a part of larger conspiracy
The Mumbai crime branch, investigating the high-profile shooting, presented a comprehensive 1,735-page chargesheet to the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court earlier this month.
According to PTI, the document reveals that the shooting was part of a larger conspiracy aimed at establishing the Bishnoi gang's dominance in Mumbai, with the goal of securing financial and other benefits.
The chargesheet included various investigation papers incorporated in three volumes., one of which is a transcript of an audio conversation between Anmol Bishnoi and the arrested shooter, Vickykumar Gupta.

According to the PTI report, in the conversation, Anmol is heard instructing Gupta to execute the firing meticulously and thoroughly, ensuring that it instills fear in "Bhai" (a term referring to Salman Khan).
Additionally, Anmol inquires if Gupta smokes. Upon receiving an affirmative response, he advises Gupta to smoke during the shooting to project an image of fearlessness on the CCTV cameras in the vicinity.
"You will create history by doing this job and your name will be in all newspapers and other media," Anmol assures Gupta as quoted by PTI.
