“There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry,” Salim Khan said.

For those who don't know, there were reports of gunfire outside Salman's Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments, in the early hours of April 14. The actor has not yet addressed the incident publicly.

Reportedly, three shots were fired in the air outside the actor’s house. Salman and his parents were sleeping at home, and nobody was injured. Salman's house is now heavily monitored after the gunfire. A complaint about the firing has been filed against the unidentified individuals. As per reports, the bikers moved towards the Western Express Highway. Police sources also affirm that the shooters are from outside Maharashtra. Mumbai Police is currently looking into the case and examining the CCTV footage to get hold of the culprits.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for attack at Salman Khan’s apartment

A few hours after the firing, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of incarcerated mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, took credit for the attack on social media.

"We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don't have the habit of talking much," the post read.

Meanwhile, Mumbai police has confiscated the attackers' bike and are investigating the involvement of all parties, including the Bishnoi gang, as well as possible reasons for the shooting.

In March of last year, the Mumbai Police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar after receiving a threatening email at Salman Khan's office.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang first went after Salman in 2018, claiming that he had offended religious sentiments by allegedly killing a black deer in Rajasthan in 1999 during the shooting of the movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.
