New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been a pair since 2007. The two dated for a long time before getting married. In the early days of their relationship, Saif got Kareena's name inked on his left arm in Hindi. The tattoo has been there all these years until eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that Saif has now covered up his tattoo.

A new video shared by a paparazzi account showed Saif Ali Khan at an airport. As Saif walks, we see that his tattoo is covered with another one. Soon after the video began doing the rounds on social media, fans began flooding the comments section with the possible reasons why Saif changed his tattoo.

Earlier in 2008, when Saif first shared his tattoo, many compared it to David Beckham's Victoria tattoo on his left forearm. Back then, Saif had shared that he had got his tattoo to show his committment towards Kareena.

“I wanted to say, ‘Look, this is what I have done and it’s a pretty serious commitment. I can wave it in your face every time you say ‘Casanova’! I’ll say, ‘But I haven’t done that before’,” he said.

In an interview with Brides Today, Kareena has spoken about her son Taimur's fascination with the tattoo and said, "I think the most romantic thing is when my son points at it now and asks. Like, he is all the time looking at that tattoo. And Saif is like, ‘This is your amma’s name’. And he (Taimur) keeps wondering like, ‘What is he saying?’ I think that’s a special moment for me,” she said.

Saif and Kareena married in 2012 and are now parents to two children-Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan.
