Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Addresses Allegations About Ranbir Kapoor's Misogyny, Says He And Alia 'Don't Care'

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's elder sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, has addressed the criticism surrounding her brother, who has been labelled a misogynist.

New Delhi: One of Bollywood's most talked-about couples, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, have often been the target of public trolling. On a frequent basis, some people have accused Ranbir of being a "misogynist". Now, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir's elder sister, responded to the internet accusations by discussing the matter in a recent interview.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was asked about the criticism levelled against her brother and his wife. In an interview with Zoom, Riddhima said, defending the pair, "They adore each other. They’ve created the most beautiful ever child, Raha. She is so so adorable. They are amazing parents. So, I don’t think they really care about what people say."

Riddhima stressed that the reason people are referred to as "trolls" is because they will always have an opinion to share. She said, "People will always have something to say. And for that reason, they are referred to as 'trolls'."

"The most important thing to them is that they are happy together," Riddhima concluded.
