Raveena Tandon News: Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon and her driver were confronted by a group of people after her car allegedly knocked down a woman within the premises of a building on Carter Road in Khar on Saturday night.

According to a Mumbai police officer, the driver allegedly knocked the woman down while reversing the car to park it. In a video that went viral on social media, a woman is seen complaining that Tandon and her driver assaulted her, causing her nose to bleed.

Raveena Tandon accused of assault

The woman's son, who identified himself as Muhammed, stated in the video that the incident occurred while he was walking with his mother, sister, and niece near Tandon’s house.

“When we confronted him, the driver assaulted my niece and my mother. Raveena Tandon, herself, who was in an inebriated state, also stepped out and brutally assaulted (my mother and niece). We are here at the Khar police station for the last four hours and nobody is lodging a complaint and are instead suggesting that they will come and settle the dispute,” said Muhammed in the video.

Both parties compromised

After the incident, both parties went to the Khar police station to file separate complaints. The police stated that they eventually agreed to reach a compromise.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Raj Tilak Roushan (Zone 9) said, “The matter has been resolved now. Both the parties have told us in writing that they do not want to lodge any complaint against each other.”

Both sides reached the police station regarding the case, but no complaint was registered in any way. Now, in this case, CCTV footage of the whole incident has been released by Raveena Tandon.
