Two Fans Die After Attending 'Game Changer' Pre-Release Event, Producer Dil Raju Offers Rs 10 Lakh Support

Two fans lost their lives in a road accident after attending the event of Ram Charan's upcoming film 'Game Changer'.

New Delhi: After attending the pre-release event of ‘Game Changer’ in Rajahmundry on Saturday night, two young fans tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident. The victims, Thokada Charan, 22, and Arava Manikantha, 23, were from the Kakinada area and were riding their bikes when they were hit by a van at around 9:30 p.m. near Vadisaleru. Despite being rushed to the hospital, they succumbed to their injuries.

One of the producers of ‘Game Changer’, Dil Raju, responded to the incident by offering his condolences to the families. Dil Raju declared that the families of the deceased fans will get Rs 10 lakh in financial relief, with Rs 5 lakh going to each of them via his production company, Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Expressing his condolences, Dil Raju said, “I just got to know that after the event, while returning, two members tragically passed away. That is why Pawan Kalyan asked me if there was an alternative to this event, as he mentioned how deeply saddening it is when something unfortunate happens after such a big event."

He also said, “But, Ram Charan and I insisted and asked for this event. I pray that their souls rest in peace, and we will stand by and support the two families. I am immediately sending Rs 5 lakhs each and assuring you that we will stand by them."

Along with Ram Charan, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended the pre-release event and offered the relatives of the victims financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh.
