Ram Charan Awarded Honorary Doctorate In Literature From Vels University
On April 13, Ram Charan received an honorary degree from the esteemed Vels University in Chennai.
New Delhi: The renowned global star Ram Charan recently received an honorary Doctor of Literature degree from Vels University, Chennai, during its 14th Annual Convocation. He was honoured as the chief guest at the prestigious event, joining a distinguished list of luminaries previously recognised by the university.
Notably, Ram Charan becomes the youngest recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Vels University. The university posted pictures from the event on social media on Saturday.

This award has been given to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Director Shankar, Dr. M.K. Stalin, Minister of Information & Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur and others in the past.
Expressing gratitude during a press conference, Ram Charan dedicated the doctorate to his directors, co workers, audience, and fans who have supported him throughout his journey.

Ram Charan’s upcoming projects
The actor is currently working on his next project, named ‘Game Changer’. Shankar, who is known for films like ‘Nayak’, ‘Anniyan’, ‘Sivaji: The Boss’, ‘Kaadhal’, and others, is in charge of this one. Kiara Advani also plays a part in the movie.
He will also begin filming a sports drama with a rural setting, written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Janhvi Kapoor will star alongside Ram Charan, while AR Rahman will provide the score.
