New Delhi: February 21 will be  a big day for Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani. The B-Town couple is all set to tie the knot in Goa. According to an India Today article, the opulent ITC Grand in south Goa would host their lavish wedding. The portal further stated that only close friends and family are on the guest list for the destination wedding.

The portal was informed by a source close to star Rakul Preet Singh and actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani “Choosing ITC Grand Goa as their wedding venue reflects the couple's taste for elegance and opulence. The sprawling property, nestled in the serene landscapes of Goa, provides the perfect backdrop for a dreamy and intimate celebration."

ITC Grand Goa, as described on the ITC Hotel website, is a 246-room resort spread over 45 acres of lush landscaped territory with direct access to the immaculate, sun-drenched Arossim Beach. There are Indo-Portuguese design influences on the property.

In response to requests to consider Indian options, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani recently decided at the last minute to switch their wedding location from abroad to India.

In Goa, Rakul Preet and Jackky will celebrate their marriage for with a festivities that will happen over the course of three days. The pre-wedding rituals will begin on February 19 and the wedding is set for February 21.

It has been claimed that Rakul and Jackky are closely collaborating with experts in carbon footprint management to make sure their wedding is in line with eco-friendly procedures, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.

The couple has hired carbon footprint specialists to assess the environmental impact of their wedding celebrations, as per a report by news agency ANI. A complete ban on fireworks and digital invitations to reduce paper waste are part of this campaign. The experts will advise Rakul and Jackky on how many trees they need to plant to balance their carbon footprint, and they intend to actively take part in the tree-planting campaign after their wedding.
