New Delhi: On Thursday night, Shah Rukh Khan's Bollywood pals joined him in celebrating his birthday. But as photographers were not permitted inside the event venue, no photos of celebrities showing up for the celebration made it to social media.
All praise, however, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor for providing a teeny peek at the celebration. The sisters posted photos of their evening ensembles on Instagram. Kareena looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder dress made of white satin. Karisma sparkled in a green sequin outfit.

Karisma posted photos of herself posing in the lift at her house. She wrote in the caption, "All set to dance the night away." "Celebrating cinema... the Badshah himself and my dear Pooja," wrote Kareena beside a photo she posted with all of the girls. On Thursday, Pooja Dadlani, the manager of Shah Rukh Khan, also celebrated her birthday.
The celebration for Shah Rukh's birthday took place away from the spotlight. Reporters and paparazzi were not permitted at the unidentified location. Thankfully, Kareena provided a little look into the celebrations.
Shah Rukh returned to his balcony and waved to his adoring audience after welcoming the throng of fans who had gathered outside Mannat around midnight. For his ardent fans, it was definitely a double treat.
Earlier on Thursday, SRK took to his Twitter handle and wrote a heartfelt note for all his fans and followers, overwhelmed by their love and support.
"It’s unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning…on the screen & off it," he wrote.
