Kalki 2898 AD: Deepika Padukone Shares Ranveer Singh's Reaction As He Feels 'Trippy' About Her Pregnancy
Deepika Padukone's husband Ranveer Singh gave his thoughts on the film 'Kalki 2898 AD' in a video that she shared on social media.
New Delhi: Deepika Padukone is now enjoying the success of her most recent megahit, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, all of whom are titans in their own industries. In its first twelve days of release, the film earned more than Rs 900 crore over the globe. As part of her winning run, Deepika posted a heartwarming photo of her husband Ranveer Singh's response to the film.
Deepika posted a heartfelt video on Instagram in which she thanked everyone for their incredible response to her performance in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The actress said, "I'm feeling utterly overwhelmed and unsure how to process my emotions."
Another actor in the video, Ranveer Singh, was astounded and utterly ‘trippy’ after seeing his wife’s performance in Nag Ashwin's film. He pointed out, "It's truly mind-boggling to see a film where her character is pregnant, and she's pregnant in real life too... it's like, what's happening?!"

About ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
Nag Ashwin and Vyjayanthi Movies helm and produce the epic science fiction film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The film serves as the pilot episode of the forthcoming Kalki Cinematic Universe, which will draw heavily from Hindu sacred text Mahabharata. In 2898 AD, in a post-apocalyptic world, a group of people are on a quest to save Kalki, the unborn child of SUM-80, a human experiment.
The long-awaited film, which had a postponed release date of May 9, 2024, owing to continuing production work, ultimately debuted in cinemas throughout the globe on June 27, 2024.
