New Delhi: Instagram user Zee Aly has shared her opinion of celebrity weddings which look exactly the same these days. Sharing pictures of weddings from Anushka-Virat to Alia-Ranbir, she compared all of these to the various varieties of Paneer dishes. Ranting about the lack of excitement about these weddings and the boring white colour that is chosen at these weddings, the user shared an entire clip advocating bringing back the colour red.
The user's video clip generated a 'million likes' on Instagram with many coming out in support of her. The video was posted after Parineeti Chopr married AAP leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur.
The video begins with her mentioning various paneer dishes as pictures from celebrity weddings pop on the screen. Featuring weddings of Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiar Advani, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and more.
Mentioning how all of the weddings have a similar colour palette-white or off-white- with celebs even posting similar wedding pictures. Zee Aly also went on to suggest that they have templates for the pics-one from the mandap, one where the bride and groom look into each other's eye, one black and white and another with the sunset in the backdrop.
The video received many likes and was supported by all present. Some claimed that these celebrities are copying Anushka Sharma and Virat Kolhi while some mentioned that Katrina Kaif and Deepika were the last ones to wear red.
A user wrote, "Katrina, Deepika, Priyanka Chopra were the bride to wear red and brides look beautiful in red more than white," while another commented, "Everyone copied Anushka and Virat."
However, some spoke about choice and said, "Have you thought about the fact that their wedding is not for your entertainment and they can wear what they want?" Another wrote, "They're wearing something which they like, it's their own freaking marriage, let them do and wear what they want."
