New Delhi: Amidst rumors of their divorce, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have reportedly confirmed that they are separating. The couple, who were married for 12 years, has announced their divorce. They said in a joint statement that their divorce is "amicable."
As reported by DelhiTimes, they issued a statement. “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected,” it read.
A Reddit post that asserted that Esha and Bharat had most likely split up went viral earlier. Based on her recent public appearances, it was noticed that she did not come with her spouse. Also, the user says that Bharat has moved on in his life in this post. In his post, the user claimed to have spotted Bharat, Isha's husband, at a New Year's Day party in Bengaluru. Where he was supposedly with his girlfriend. However, the Deol family has not yet responded to this news.
Esha and Bharat celebrated their wedding anniversary in June 2023, and the actor wished her husband on social media with a few pictures.
