While presenting the gift, Diljit shared his thoughts on the division between India and Pakistan, emphasising the unity among Punjabis across borders. "Be it India or Pakistan, it is one for me. There is immense love for all in the hearts of every Punjabi. These borders are made by politicians, but people who know Punjabi, whether from here or there, we are all the same. So people who have come from my country India, and those who have come from Pakistan, I welcome you all. Thank you ma'am,” Dosanjh said in the video.

Diljit introduces his family to the crowd

In another heartwarming moment during his Manchester concert, Dosanjh introduced his family to the audience. Known for keeping his personal life private, the singer surprised fans by bringing his mother and sister into the spotlight. In a video circulating on social media, Dosanjh was seen holding his mother's hand, lifting it up, and announcing, "By the way, this is my mom."

His mother, visibly emotional, embraced her son through the barricades as he bowed in respect to her. Dosanjh also introduced his sister, proudly pointing her out to the crowd. "She is my sister. My family is here today," he shared.
