New Delhi: Courteney Cox took to Instagram two weeks after the unexpected death of actor Matthew Perry to offer her sorrow. The actress who played Monica Geller on 'Friends' reflected on working with her co-star and posted a clip of one of her favourite sequences from the show.
Courteney Cox posted a clip from the Season 4 finale of Friends, showcasing Monica and Chandler's connection. Cox said that the on-screen couple's romance was sparked by the audience's response. She spoke highly of Perry's wit and generosity, noting how he often improvised humorous remarks before scenes. She expressed her appreciation for her time spent with Matty.
In the caption, she said, "I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day. When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now here’s one of my favorites. To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story. In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind."
