Death Threats Targeting Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique
An anonymous message was sent to the Mumbai traffic police on Tuesday, threatening the murder of Salman Khan unless he paid 2 crore rupees, according to the official. The accuser allegedly threatened the life of Zeeshan Siddique and actor Salman Khan in a voice call. According to local police, “The accused initially sent a threatening message on MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s helpline number and later made a voice call on it, in which he issued a death threat to Siddique and actor Salman Khan. This took place on Friday.”
A 20-year-old Noida guy was previously taken into custody by police in relation to a threatening call sent at Salman Khan and MLA Zeeshan Siddique, the son of late NCP leader Baba Siddique.
Earlier this month, the actor was threatened with a message seeking Rs 5 crore by the Mumbai traffic police's WhatsApp hotline desk.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has threatened Salman Khan many times in the past. In April of this year, the actor's Bandra residence was the target of gunfire from alleged gang members. The actor's protection has been beefed up by the Navi Mumbai police.
