Brahmastra Motion Poster: Mouni Roy's First Look As Junoon Is Ferocious

According to rumours, Mouni would play a villain in the film who uses her supernatural abilities to fight Ranbir.

New Delhi: There is no stopping the enthusiasm of fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the Brahmastra teaser. A new motion poster featuring Mouni Roy as Junoon has been revealed by director Ayan Mukerji ahead of the film's release.

With a burning crimson aura and red eyes to match, Roy's avatar was shown as the Queen on the poster. Mukerji praised Roy's portrayal of Junoon in the text accompanying the new motion poster. Fans are intrigued by Mouni's appearance in the film's first glimpse. A wicked atmosphere was represented in her flaming eyes and demonic demeanour.

According to rumours, Mouni would play a villain in the film who uses her supernatural abilities to fight Ranbir.

Sharing the motion poster, director, Ayan Mukerji wrote, "A lot of people, I think, are going to walk out of Brahmāstra, talking about Mouni’s Performance as Junoon. Moun - who has deep belief and deep surrender for Lord Shiva - has always understood Brahmāstra very naturally - and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie!"

Mukerji has said that the movie is not about a superhero and that the concept for the film came from Indian mythology and gods.

The film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna in addition to Mouni Roy, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. Shah Rukh Khan is also said to make a cameo appearance in the flick. ‘Brahmastra’ is set to release on the 9th of September in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
