Ayushmann Khurrana-Tahira Kashyap Donate To Maharashtra Chief Minister Fund Amid Second Wave Of COVID-19

Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap have come forward to help the people in this fight against COVID-19.

New Delhi: People and celebrities from all over the world are extending their helping hands as India hit the second wave of COVID-19. With each passing day, positive cases are increasing in the country and hospitals are running short of beds and oxygen cylinders. Many Bollywood celebrities including Sonu Sood, Akshay Kumar and others have also extended their helping hands in this hour of need.

Now, another actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap have come forward to help the people in this fight against COVID-19. The ‘Article 15’ actor shared the news on his social media and thanked everyone who inspired them to do more.

Ayushmann shared a note which read, “We have been in the eye of the storm since last year. This pandemic has broken our hearts, made us endure pain and suffering like never before, showed us how solidarity with one another can make us handle this humanitarian crisis. Today, again, this pandemic asks us to show fortitude, resilience and mutual support. People, across India, have stepped forward to do as much as possible for each other and Tahira and I thank each and every individual who have inspired us ta do more.”

The ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ actor further added, “We have been constantly doing our bit to help as many people as possible and have now contributed to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund in this hour of need. This is the time when we should come together as a community and care for each other. People need as much help as possible and we can all look to do our bit as we deem fit. Tahira and Ayushmann”.

Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, the National Film Award winner actor will be next seen in Anubhav Sinha’s action thriller ‘Anek’ and Gattu Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ opposite Vaani Kapoor.
