New Delhi: Actor Arjun Kapoor's debut film 'Ishaqzaade' has clocked in ten years. After spending a decade in the industry, the actor is going ecstatic as he expressed his emotions on "10 years of living and breathing Hindi cinema every second of my life." Arjun Kapoor, who has made his mark in the industry over the years, debuted in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade in 2012. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of actress Parineeti Chopra.

Arjun, who is currently shooting in Manali for his upcoming film 'The Ladykiller' opposite Bhumi Pednekar, took to his Instagram to pen a gratification note "for making an under-confident kid believe in himself!"

Sharing pictures of scenes from the film that was a raw and rustic version of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet', Arjun wrote, "10 years of living and breathing Hindi cinema every second of my life. Truly indebted to Adi sir, @yrf and my director #HabibFaisal for giving me #Ishaqzaade - a movie that turbo-charged my dream to be a Hindi film hero! A big thank you to @parineetichopra for being the most amazing first co-star one could ever get. Last but not the least, also thankful to @shanoosharmarahihai for finding and helping me audition for Yash Raj Films."

He further continued, "Many memories, huge nostalgia and overwhelming love - this film just keeps on giving. Thank you everyone for making an under-confident kid believe in himself!"

The talented actor also went on to say how he is a "work in progress" as he tries his best to entertain all.

Arjun continued his note with, "As an artiste, I'm proud to say that I am a #WorkInProgress, with each film being a learning opportunity to get better at my craft. Really fortunate to have got producers and directors who have punted on me time and time again. It has been one hell of a ride. Many ups, many downs. Counting my blessings along the way."

Thanking everyone for all the love and support over the years, he concluded his note by writing, "Here's to a decade of trying my best to entertain you all, with the promise of trying even harder in the future. Thank you everyone for the love, the smiles, the tears, the support and the kindness. Love you."

While Arjun's sister Anshula Kapoor reacted on the post with heart emojis, Prineeti Chopra commented, "Celebrating a decade of not being polite to each other. 😁"

Belonging to a family of talented actors including uncles Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, step-mother late Sridevi and cousin Sonam Kapoor, Arjun has made his own mark in the industry with some impactful performances.

Arjun has an interesting mix of films this year that will see him straddle many genres. He will be seen in Mohit Suri's 'Ek Villain 2', Aasman Bhardwaj's 'Kuttey' and Ajay Bahl's 'The Ladykiller'.
