New Delhi: One of the most loved celebrity couples of the country Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli celebrate their third wedding anniversary today (December 11). The couple tied the knot Italy in December 2017 and later hosted two lavish wedding receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. Adorably referred to as ‘Virushka’ by their fans, the couple is all set to welcome their little bundle of joy in January 2021. Virat is currently with Team India on the tour of Australia, will return to the country after the first Test of the four-match series to attend the birth of his child. Kohl also shared a beautiful picture of the ‘NH10’ actress from their wedding and wrote, “3 years and onto a lifetime together.”

The news of Virushka’s pregnancy broke the internet as it garnered more than 5 million likes within 30 minutes. Anushka, after returning from the IPL 2020 tour in Dubai, started completing her work commitments. Also, while speaking to TOI, the actress shared her experience of working amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She told, “I had to be sure that the sets are going to be a safe place to shoot because I would be shooting during the pandemic. Though I was looking forward to shooting again, I was also careful that all the precautions were being taken. I’m thankful to everyone for following all the necessary steps for me to shoot. The virus is here to stay and we have to embrace the new normal and deal with coronavirus with the strictest precautions, which is what I have done.” “I will be back to my shoots after I deliver my child, and will establish a system at home that ensures I can balance time between my child, home and professional life. I intend to keep working for as long as I live because acting truly makes me happy”, added Anushka. On the professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L. Rai’s 2018 movie ‘Zero’.
