New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a baby girl on November 6. The actress made the official announcement of the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram. Post announcement, many celebrities sent their blessings and love to the baby and congratulated the couple. Alia’s co-star from her first international project 'Heart of Stone', Gal Gadot also congratulated her on the birth of her baby girl. 

Gal Gadot commented on Alia’s post and wrote “Congratulations” along with a heart emoticon and party confetti icons. 

Alia had announced the news of her baby girl in a post that read, “And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love, love, love. Alia and Ranbir.”

Alia Bhatt had earlier spoken about her experience of working in her first Hollywood project in a conversation with Anupama Chopra and revealed how Gal Gadot had reacted when she told her about her pregnancy. When Alia called up Gal Gadot and told the latter about her pregnancy, she said, 'lovely, mazel tov mazel tov..This is such a good omen. So, I got you baby. She was like I'm gonna take care of you. Don't worry about it.(sic)" 

Alia added that Gal Gadot genuinely took care of her. "She kept checking whether you're ok, you need to drink water, are you dehydrated, are you eating enough, what are you feeling like etc. etc.I mean the fact that there was that comfort and that ease and like that familiarity like, 'we got this' was really reassuring." 

Alia and Ranbir tied knot in April this year.
