Akshay Kumar To Star With Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor In Upcoming Film 'Khel Khel Mein'

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar reprising his role in 'Hera Pheri 3' was a much-anticipated move that did not happen. Now, Akshay's new project titled 'Khel Khel Mein' has been creating headlines. The 55-year-old will soo be starring in this comedy film which is being helmed by Mudassar Aziz, reported Hindustan Times.
Akshay Kumar has been seen in multiple projects this year, from 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'Bachchan Pandey' to 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Cuttputlli' among others. As per the same Hindustan Times report, a source close to the development has confirmed that this upcoming project is very much on track and that the rest of the cast of the film has also been finalised.
The film will see Akshay reuniting with his Bell Bottom (2021) co-star Vaani Kapoor, and also his Naam Shabana (2017) and Mission Mangal (2019) co-star Taapsee Pannu. In addition to this, the film will also star popular Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk in a prominent role. Some more actors would be coming on board, but details are yet to be finalised,” the report quotes the source as saying.
'Khel Khel Mein' will also mark Akshay Kumar's return to the comedy genre he is so well-known for. The film is expected to go on floors next year.
Until the official announcement comes, fans have something to keep the excitement around the film brewing.
Meanwhile, Akshay and Taapsee starred together in hit films like 'Naam Shabana', 'Mission Mangal' though they did not share so much screen space together. Ammy Virk is an exciting cast addition to look out for when and if that happens for real.
