Uttarakhand Polls: Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Yogi Adityanath Among BJP's 30 Star Campaigners
Uttarakhand will witness a single-phase polling on February 14 and the counting of the votes will take place on March 10.
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released a list of 30 'star campaigners' for the Uttarakhand Assembly election slated to take place next month.
The list includes names of prominent BJP leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Pralhad Joshi (also the election in-charge of Uttarakhand), Smriti Irani among others.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP MP Dushyant Kumar Gautam, BJP MLA Madan Kaushik also feature as the ruling party's star campaigners.
Names of former Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand such as Vijay Bahuguna, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tirath Singh Rawat, and former Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank are also mentioned.
Other prominent leaders include General VK Singh, Ajay Bhatt, Locket Chatterjee, RP Singh, Ajay Kumar, Ajay Tamta, Mala Rajyalaxmi Shah, Anil Baluni, Naresh Bansal, Manoj Tiwari, Nayab Singh Saini, Satpal Maharaj, and Balraj Pasi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday held a door-to-door campaign and addressed poll meetings in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. He appealed to people to bring the BJP back to power in the state to ensure good governance for another five years.
