'He Is Dangesh, Not Akhilesh': MP CM Shivraj Singh Takes Swipe At SP Chief | WATCH

In his address, MP CM Singh fiercely attacked Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav by calling him 'Dangesh.'

New Delhi: With only two phases of the Uttar Pradesh assembly election remaining, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and a top BJP politician held a rally in Jaunpur on Monday. In his address, MP CM Singh fiercely attacked Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav by calling him 'Dangesh,' news agency ANI reported.

Taking a jibe at SP Chief, MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "PM Modi running 'Mission Ganga' (to evacuate Indians stuck in Ukraine) while Akhilesh ran 'Mission Dangas' (riots). He is 'Dangesh', not Akhilesh...over 700 riots under his govt."

'Akhilesh Yadav Is Today's Aurangzeb': MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Earlier today, while addressing a public gathering in Ghazipur, MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that SP president Akhilesh Yadav is today's Aurangzeb because, like the Mughal king, Akhilesh had shut down his father and seized power.

"Akhilesh ki cycle hogi puncher, BJP ko jeet milegi Bumper," he adds.

Further taking a swipe at Akhilesh Yadav, MP CM said, "It was due to PM Narendra Modi that vaccines were made in India. Akhilesh said it is Modi vaccine but silently got himself jabbed."

The fifth phase of the ongoing Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh was completed yesterday at 6 p.m. The final two phases will be polled on March 3 and March 7. The ballots will be counted on March 10th.

UP Legislative Assembly Election 2017

The UP Legislative Assembly Election 2017 was held in seven phases, with a voter participation of 61.04 per cent. The BJP won the UP assembly election 2017 by an enormous three-quarter majority, garnering 325 seats in what has come to be known as the Modi wave.

In the 2017 UP assembly election, the incumbent SP government lost 177 seats and won only 47 of the 311 seats it contested. While the Mayawati-led BSP lost ground in the state, winning 19 of the 403 seats it contested.

The Congress had to settle with 7 assembly seats, while the BJP's tiny coalition partner Apna Dal was able to take 9 of the 11 seats it fought for.
