I.N.D.I.A Bloc Ranchi Rally: Preparations are underway for the mega rally organised by the I.N.D.I.A bloc in Ranchi’s Prabhat Tara ground on Sunday (April 21). This comes after the bloc conducted a massive rally in New Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan three weeks ago on March 31. Named the “Ulgulan (uprising) Nyay rally”, the event will witness the participation of prominent leaders including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM leader Champai Soren, Punjab VM and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and other top figures from various I.N.D.I.A parties.

With the Lok Sabha polls in focus, the rally will spotlight the recent arrests of JMM’s ex-Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren and AAP’s Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Both leaders have been in judicial custody, with their spouses, Sunita Kejriwal, and Kalpana Soren, expected to address the gathering.
Jharkhand CM Soren on Saturday stated that the BJP-led central government’s “dictatorial” tactics would be exposed. He further asserted that the rally would be a “historic event” aimed at unveiling the authoritarian approach of the Centre.
“We need to stop the dictatorship and save our democracy and the Constitution. Everyone knows what happened in Jharkhand and Delhi. We will expose the dictatorial approach of the Centre at the mega rally,” he affirmed.
