Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Rahul Gandhi won from the Wayanad seat in Kerala.
Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi secured victory in Kerala from the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday. He defeated Annie Raja of the Communist Party of India by a margin of 3,64,422 votes. K Surendran of the Bhartiya Janta Party stood as the second runner-up and lost to Gandhi by a margin of 5,06,400 votes. The counting of votes has been completed for Wayanad.

Rahul Gandhi has also secured victory from the Rae Bareli seat. When he was asked which seat he would retain, he responded by saying, "I have won from Rae Bareli and Wayanad and I thank the voters. I need to decide which seat I will retain. I haven't decided yet."

While thanking for the support from the people of Rae Bareli, he said, "UP ki janta ne kamaal karke dikha diya...The people of UP understood the politics of the country and the danger to the Constitution, and they safeguarded the Constitution. I thank them for supporting Congress party and INDIA alliance..."

On the question of the chances of govt formation by I.N.D.I.A. alliance, Rahul Gandhi says, "We will hold a meeting with our alliance partners tomorrow. These questions will be raised and answered there. We won't make any statements without asking our alliance partners."
