Gujarat Elections: Chief Ministers Of Delhi, Punjab & Rajasthan In Poll-Bound State For Mega Sunday Rallies

Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann and Ashok Gehlot will be addressing various rallies in Gujarat today. All three leaders are on their three-day visit to the Poll-bound Gujarat.

New Delhi: The Chief Ministers of Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan will be addressing mega rallies on Sunday in poll-bound Gujarat as parties look to woo voters with elections approaching closer.

Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann who are on their three-day visit to the BJP-ruled Gujarat since Friday will jointly be addressing two rallies in the Palitana town of Bhavnagar and Dhoraji in the Rajkot district today.

The national convenor of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, has visited the state of Gujarat a number of times in the past. He has also promised numerous things to the people of Gujarat if the AAP is voted to power.

Congress veteran and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will also be addressing three rallies today, on the third day of his visit to Gujarat.

The preparations from almost every other party are in full force. However, the schedule for the Gujarat Assembly polls is yet to be announced. Despite the dates being not clear, it is expected that the election schedule will be announced this week.

Gehlot will be addressing a public gathering at Virampur in Banaskantha which will be followed by rallies at Khedbrahma in the Sabarkantha district and Bhiloda in Aravalli district.

Ashok Gehlot on Saturday claimed that BJP was getting 95 per cent of all the donations that were made through electoral bonds due to donors being afraid of providing funds to parties other than the BJP.

He further went on to say that BJP was "threatening" the corporates who were wishing to donate to other political parties including Congress. The Rajasthan CM also took a dig at AAP while saying that they spend a decent amount of money to get any negative news against them suppressed.
