57% Andhra Voters Want Narendra Modi As PM, NDA Projected To Get 47% Votes, Says Survey

Andhra Pradesh, a state that often sees the dominance of regional parties, including the YSRCP and TDP, is likely to witness a challenge from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress.

ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll: With Lok Sabha elections just a few days away, all the parties are in full campaign mode and are going all out at each other in the race to the Prime Minister's chair. On one hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA aims for 400 seats; on the other hand, the opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A is holding rallies in a show of strength to defeat the Narendra Modi-led central government.

As far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned, the southern state is set to witness Assembly elections alongside the all-important Lok Sabha polls. Andhra Pradesh, a state that often sees the dominance of regional parties, including the YSRCP and TDP, is likely to witness a challenge from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress.

Ahead of the state Assembly and Lok Sabha polls, the BJP sealed a seat-sharing deal with N. Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and Pawan Kalyan's JSP in Andhra Pradesh. After facing defeat in the Karnataka Assembly polls in 2023, the saffron party is trying to enter the southern part of the country and make an impact, whereas after winning Assembly polls in Karnataka and Telangana, the Congress and I.N.D.I.A. bloc will be seeking to expand their dominance in the south.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, ABP News conducted an opinion poll in association with CVoter to understand the mood of the nation. According to the CVoter survey, 28 percent of people in Andhra Pradesh are very satisfied with the work of the Narendra Modi-led central government, 36 percent are less satisfied with the central government, and 25 percent are dissatisfied. 

According to the CVoter survey, the BJP-led NDA is set to get 47 percent votes, YSRCP is likely to receive 43 percent votes, and I.N.D.I.A bloc might get a mere 3 percent vote.

The survey projected that 40 percent of people in the southern state are very satisfied with PM Modi's work, 36 percent are less satisfied, and 20 percent are dissatisfied. As far as the choice of PM is concerned, 57 percent of people want Narendra Modi to continue as the Prime Minister, while 25 percent wish to see Congress leader Rahul Gandhi holding the top post.   

As per the CVoter survey, 32 percent of people are very satisfied with the YSRCP government in the state, while 31 percent are less satisfied, and 32 percent are dissatisfied. The survey also predicted that 41 percent of people are very satisfied with the work of Andhra Pradesh CM Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, while 28 percent are less satisfied, and 28 percent are dissatisfied.
