ABP Exit Poll 2019: Giriraj Singh likely to hurdle Kanhaiya Kumar's victory; tough fight in Begusarai

ABP Exit Poll 2019 predicted the mood of the nation and highlighted how candidates/ parties will perform at all 542 parliamentary constituencies.

ABP Exit Poll 2019: Post the conclusion of seventh and the last phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019, ABP Exit Poll 2019 predicted the mood of the nation and highlighted how candidates/ parties will perform at all 542 parliamentary constituencies. In yet another massive revelation, the exit poll results predicts a close battle between Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate Kanhaiya Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Giriraj Singh in Bihar’s Begusarai seat. The Exit Poll survey, however, favours BJP’s Singh and signals trouble for Kanhaiya in this political combat. Begusarai has successfully been able to capture nation’s attention due to entry of communist leader and former JNU student union president Kanhaiya. The young leader has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre and has blamed it for stalling economic growth, GDP decline and raising unemployment in the country. Soon after the exit poll predictions were aired by several news channels on May 19, BJP leader Giriraj Singh used the projections to take pod shot at the Opposition. “Mamata Banerjee, Chandrababu Naidu and all other opposition leaders have gone into the ICU, politically speaking, after viewing the exit poll results. After the actual results are announced on May 23, these leaders must observe political penance (raajnitik pashchatap) so that they could attain political salvation (raajneetik moksha,” he tweeted in Hindi. ABP Exit Poll predicted a massive victory for the BJP and Janata Dal United (JDU) alliance in Bihar with as many as 34 out of 40 Lok Sabha seat. It also hinted a cruel dent for Opposition Gathbandhan of Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and Congress as it is likely to shrink down to just 6 seats in the eastern state. This comes as a massive disappointment for RJD leader and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav who was affirmative about the Opposition coming back to power in Bihar. Begusarai went to polls on April 29 in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha election. The seat registered a voting percentage of 61.27 -- 2 per cent than last time's count.
