PM Modi Or Rahul Gandhi — Who Is Preferred PM Face Ahead Of LS Election, ABP CVoter Opinion Poll Reveals
ABP and CVoter reached out to the people across the nation to find out who will they prefer as their news leader, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi or Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After the high-octane Assembly elections in five states, the emphasis has switched to the Lok Sabha elections next year. The state elections, termed the "semi-final" before the 2024 final, ended in a 3-2 victory for the BJP, which kept power in Madhya Pradesh while wresting control of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan from the Congress.
With the general election only a few months away, the BJP-led NDA is riding high on the Modi wave, betting on the charm and popularity of its most visible campaign symbol. On the other side, after four key meetings, the Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A has failed to portray its Prime Ministerial visage. Following the fourth huddle in New Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee announced that she had suggested Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as the PM face of their coalition. Her Delhi counterpart, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, also supported the plan.
