24-Hr Power Supply, 10 Lakh Govt Jobs, Unemployment Allowance: 'Kejriwal Ki Guarantee' In MP — Details

Arvind Kejriwal also advocated for his administration's education model to be used to enhance government-run schools across Madhya Pradesh.

Ahead of the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced poll guarantees for the state. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is the only political party that deliever its promises in the form of guarentee to the people. He also advocated for his administration's education model to be used to enhance government-run schools across the state.  

Addressing the gathering in Satna, Kejriwal stated: "Today we are releasing 'Kejriwal ki Guarantee'...I guarantee to provide 24-hour electricity in the state. The people of the state have tried these two parties (Congress and BJP) for the last 75 years, but none of them provided electricity in the state. If you want power supply, vote for AAP and if you want power cut, vote for these two parties."

"We are not politicians; we are here to help build the country. Please give us one chance, and I promise you will forget about the BJP and the Congress," he stated.

Hitting out at Congress and BJP, the Delhi CM stated that no party has ever delivered its promises to the people in 75 years, but Kejriwal guarantees that the promises made by AAP would be fulfilled. "Kejriwal will get his head chopped, but will fulfill all the promises," he stated.

In a direct assault on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Kejriwal stated that a maternal uncle had tricked the people of the state and warned people not to trust 'mama'. 

"In Madhya Pradesh, a maternal uncle (Mama) has deceived his nieces and nephews severely. It is suggested not to put your trust in this uncle. Your brother, son, and uncle have arrived. We will set up schools, hospitals, and jobs for your children. We've done it in Delhi, Punjab, and will do it again in Madhya Pradesh if you give us the opportunity," Kejriwal stated.

AAP's Poll Promises In MP

Employment 

• Every jobless person will be given a job.
• Every jobless person would get a monthly stipend of Rs 3000 till they find work. 
• Around 10 lakh unemployed people would be hired for government jobs.
• Transparency in employment recruiting will be achieved by removing suggestions and corruption, and job possibilities will be made available to the entire public.

Electricity

• Every month, 300 units of power would be provided free of charge to every family in Madhya Pradesh, like in Delhi and Punjab.
• Madhya Pradesh will have 24-hour power in all of its villages and towns.
• After the Aam Aadmi Party forms a government in Madhya Pradesh, all past unpaid domestic bills would be forgiven.

Education 

• Every kid in Madhya Pradesh will get a high-quality, free education.
• All government schools will be upgraded to the same standards as those in Delhi.
• Private schools in Madhya Pradesh, like those in Delhi, would not be allowed to raise their rates illegally.
• All contractual instructors will have their positions confirmed. 
• All empty teaching positions will be filled.
• Teachers shall not be assigned any other tasks than instructing.

Health 

• Every Madhya Pradesh citizen would receive free and high-quality healthcare, comparable to what is offered in Delhi.
• Similar to Delhi, all drugs, diagnostics, and operations would be provided at no cost.
• Like in Delhi, mohalla clinics would be established in every village and ward.
• All current Madhya Pradesh government hospitals will be upgraded, and new government hospitals will be built.
• All traffic accident victims in Madhya Pradesh will be given with free medical treatment.

Pilgrimage

• Senior folks, like those in Delhi, would be entitled to travel for free to any religious pilgrimage place of their choice.
• The full package, including travel, lodging, and meals, will be supplied at no cost.

Samman Rashi For Martyrs'

• If troops from the Indian Army or the Madhya Pradesh Police are killed in the course of duty, their families would be compensated with Rs 1 crore.

Working Class

• All departments' contract, contractual, and irregular staff will be regularised.
• The contract and temporary employment systems will be phased out.
