The polling / voting in Warangal constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telangana Rashtra Samithi#s Pasunuri Dayakar and Congress Party#s Dommati sambaiah

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Telugu Desam Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 13366 votes. Here, Telugu Desam Party leader Bodakunti Venkateshwarlu attained 385593 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Dr. T. Kalpanadevi bagged 372227 votes
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Telugu Desam Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 24801 votes. Here, Telugu Desam Party leader Azmeera Chandulal attained 323093 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Dr. T. Kalpana Devi bagged 298292 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Telugu Desam Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 17440 votes.
