Vaishali: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Rama Kishore Singh from Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) won the elections by a margin of 99267 votes. The polling / voting in Vaishali constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Lok Janshakti Party#s Veena Devi and Rashtriya Janata Dal#s Raghuvansh Prasad Singh

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 22 out of the 40 parliamentary seat with 29.4 percent vote share while the Lok Janshakti Party managed to win just 6 seats with a 6.4 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Vaishali Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 58.34% Lok Sabha percent with 56.46% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 60.53% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 6060 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 22 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Vaishali, 20 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Rama Kishore Singh of the Lok Janshakti Party as he defeated Raghuvansh Prasad Singh by a margin of 99267 votes.

Here, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Dr. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh attained 284479 votes and Janata Dal (United) candidate Vijay Kumar Shukla bagged 262171 votes
• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha poll, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate defated Independent candidate in one-sided contest. Here, RJD candidate Raghubansh Prasad Singh attained 361503 votes and IND's Vijay Kumar Shukla bagged 255568 votes.
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate defeated BPSP candidate with a difference of 45392 votes. Here, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh attained 308458 votes and BPSP candidate Lovely Anand bagged 263066 votes
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate defeated SAP candidate with a difference of 41494 votes. Here, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh attained 322101 votes and SAP candidate Brishim Patel bagged 280607 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, JD candidate had defeated SAP candidate by a margin of 62683 votes JD candidate Raghybansh Prasad Singh had got 354226 while SAP got Vrishin Patel votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha poll, JD candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, JD candidate Sheo Sharan Singh attained 346003 votes and INC's Usha Singh (W) bagged 236160 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, JD candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, JD candidate Usha Singh attained 441514 votes and INC's Kishori Sinha bagged 228297 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated LKD candidate with a difference of 19953 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Kishori Sinha attained 267546 votes and LKD candidate Tarkeshwari Sinha bagged 247593 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between JNP and Indian National Congress here JNP candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 3331 votes.
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Digvijoy Narain Singh attained 435757 votes and INC's Nawal Kishore Singh bagged 70260 votes.

सरगुजा से बीजेपी के रेणुका सिंह सरुता 1 लाख 57 हजार 364 वोटों से आगे चल रही हैं. राजनंद गांव से बीजेपी उम्मदीवार संतोष पाण्डेय 1 लाख 11 हजार 432 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं.

दुर्ग से विजय बघेल बीजेपी की सीट से 3 लाख 66 हजार 873 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं. सूबे की राजधानी रायपुर से सुनील कुमार सोनी 3 लाख 21 हजार 757 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं.

छत्तीसगढ़ में बस्तर से कांग्रेस के दीपक बैज 39812 से आगे है. वहीं बिलासपुर से बीजेपी के उम्मीदवार अरुण साओ 1 लाख 38 हजार 650 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं.

छत्तीसगढ़ के विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने भले ही दमदार प्रदर्शन करके बीजेपी को सत्ता से बेदखल कर दिया हो, लेकिन अब लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी ने एक दफा फिर दमदार वापसी की है. 11 सीटों में से बीजेपी नौ सीटों पर बढ़त बनाए हुए है. जबकि कांग्रस को सिर्फ दो सीटों पर ही बढ़त है.
