Tikamgarh: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Virendra Kumar from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 208731 votes. The polling / voting in Tikamgarh constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Virendra Kumar Khatik and Congress Party#s Smt kiran ahirwar

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

Out of the 13 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Tikamgarh, 11 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Dr. Virendra Kumar of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Ahirwar Dr. Kamlesh Verma by a margin of 208731 votes.

• 2009 Lok Sabha Elections: In 15th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 41862 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Dr. Virendra Kumar attained 200109 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Ahirwar Vrindavan bagged 158247 votes
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BJS candidate by a margin of 81575 votes INC candidate Nathu Ram Bhamora had got 136555 while BJS got Nathu Ram Maharajpur votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 66978 votes INC candidate N. Ram had got 111230 while IND got R. Das votes.
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, PSP candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 31288 votes. Here, PSP leader Kure Mate attained 97647 votes and IND candidate Kammoda bagged 66359 votes
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate defeated BJS candidate with a difference of 49933 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Ram Sahai Tiwari attained 82104 votes and BJS candidate Mata Din bagged 32171 votes

पणजी : माजी मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर पर्रिकर यांच्या निधनामुळे रिक्त झालेल्या पणजी विधानसभेच्या पोटनिवडणुकीसाठी 75.25 टक्के मतदान झाले.किरकोळ प्रकार वगळता मतदान शांततेत पार पडले.या पोटनिवडणुकीचा निकाल 23 मे रोजी लोकसभेच्या निवडणुकांबरोबर जाहीर केला जाणार आहे. एकूण 22 हजार 482 पैकी 8 हजार 119 पुरुषांनी तर 8,799 महिलांनी मतदानाचा हक्क बजावला.
