Mumbai-North-Central: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Poonam Mahajan Alias Poonam Vajendla Rao from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 186771 votes. In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Shiv Sena candidate with a difference of 13329 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Eknath M. Gaikwad attained 256282 votes and Shiv Sena candidate Manohar Gajanan Joshi bagged 242953 votes
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha poll, Shiv Sena candidate defated BBM candidate in one-sided contest. Here, SHS candidate Manohar Gajanan Joshi attained 294935 votes and BBM's Raja Dhale bagged 125940 votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, RPI candidate defeated Shiv Sena candidate with a difference of 25232 votes. Here, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale attained 282373 votes and Shiv Sena candidate Narayan Athawalay bagged 257141 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 89199 votes SHS candidate Narayan Gajanan Athawale had got 242536 while INC got Sharad Shankar Dighe votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Shiv Sena candidate with a difference of 14212 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Dighe Sharad Shankar attained 180084 votes and Shiv Sena candidate Vidyadhar Gokhale bagged 165872 votes
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Shiv Sena and Indian National Congress here Shiv Sena candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 8185 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Dighe Sharad Shankar attained 211443 votes and BJP's Manohar Joshi bagged 79345 votes.

यूपी में शाम पांच बजे तक 50.63 फीसदी वोटिंग दर्ज की गई। सुल्तानपुर में 52.93%, प्रतापगढ़ 51.28%, फूलपुर 46%, इलाहाबाद 47.06%, अम्बेडकरनगर 55.24%, श्रावस्ती 47.80%, डुमरियागंज 46.40%, बस्ती 53.28%, संतकबीरनगर 50.72%, लालगंज 52.50%, आजमगढ़ 52.60%, जौनपुर 51.43%, मछलीशहर 50.40% और भदोही में 51.20% वोटिंग हुई।

सबसे ज्यादा 58.78 प्रतिशत मतदान अंबेडकरनगर में हुआ है। इलाहाबाद में सबसे कम 50.58 फीसदी वोटिंग हुई

प्रतापगढ़ के विश्वनाथगंज विधानसभा मांधाता क्षेत्र के हर्षपुर ग्राम सभा में ईवीएम खराब होने के कारण एक घंटा वोटिंग प्रभावित रही।
