Mandla: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Faggan Singh Kulaste from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 110469 votes. The polling / voting in Mandla constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 4 on 29 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Faggan Singh Kulaste and Congress Party#s Kamal maravi

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 13512 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Faggan Singh Kulaste attained 268739 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Chhote Lal Uike bagged 255227 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 64620 votes BJP candidate Faggansingh Kulaste had got 246334 while INC got Mohanlal votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 87673 votes INC candidate Mohan Lal had got 165607 while BJP got Ram Bhajan votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 45235 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Mohan Lal attained 199943 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Anoop Singh bagged 154708 votes
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Mohan Lal attained 198095 votes and BJP's Shyamlal Dhurve bagged 69787 votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP candidate with a difference of 15988 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Chhotelal Sonu attained 91524 votes and JNP candidate Shyamlal Dhurve bagged 75536 votes
