Mandi: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ram Swaroop Sharma from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 39856 votes. The polling / voting in Mandi constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Ramswaroop Sharma and Congress Party#s Ashrey sharma

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 4 out of the 4 parliamentary seat with 53.31 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just seats with a 40.7 percent vote share.

The total voter turnout was 63.12% Lok Sabha percent with 64.23% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes.   • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha poll, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BJP candidate Maheshwar Singh attained 325929 votes and INC's Kaul Singh bagged 194904 votes.
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha poll, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BJP candidate Maheshwar Singh attained 304210 votes and INC's Smt.Pratibha Singh bagged 172378 votes.
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Sukh Ram attained 328186 votes and BJP's Adan Singh Thakur bagged 174963 votes.
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 26627 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Sukh Ram attained 233380 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Maheshwar Singh bagged 206753 votes
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 28069 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Maheshwar Singh attained 234164 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Sukh Ram bagged 206095 votes
  • 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Sukh Ram attained 224146 votes and BJP's Madhukar bagged 92495 votes.
  • 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated JNP candidate by a margin of 58354 votes INC(I) candidate Vir Bahadur Singh had got 166949 while JNP got Ganga Singh votes.
  • 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, BLD candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 35505 votes. Here, BLD leader Ganga Singh attained 138143 votes and INC candidate Virbhadra Singh bagged 102638 votes
  • 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated LRP candidate by a margin of 89177 votes INC candidate Virbhadra Singh had got 114957 while LRP got Mandhar Lal votes.
  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 34265 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader L. Sen attained 62596 votes and IND candidate I. Singh bagged 28331 votes
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated SWA candidate with a difference of 26256 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Lalit Sen attained 46856 votes and SWA candidate Ambika Kumari bagged 20600 votes
  • 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 24420 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Joginder Sen attained 57530 votes and IND candidate Anand Chand bagged 33110 votes
  • 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate defeated KMPP candidate with a difference of 27280 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Amrit Kaur attained 47152 votes and KMPP candidate Tej Singh bagged 19872 votes
