Maldaha Uttar: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Mausam Noor from Indian National Congress (INC) won the elections by a margin of 65705 votes. The polling / voting in Maldaha Uttar constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Khagen Murmu and All India Trinamool Congress#s Mausam Noor

Maldaha Uttar 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, All India Trinamool Congress won 34 out of the 42 parliamentary seat with 39.8 percent vote share while the Communist Party of India (Marxist) managed to win just 2 seats with a 23 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Maldaha Uttar Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 81.59% Lok Sabha percent with 78.23% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 85.22% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 10481 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 14 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Maldaha Uttar, 11 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Mausam Noor of the Indian National Congress as he defeated Khagen Murmu by a margin of 65705 votes.

लोकसभा के 5वें चरण का मतदान आज जारी है और दोपहर 3 बजे तक के वोटिंग के आंकड़े देखें तो बिहार में 44.08 फीसदी वोटिंग हुई है. जम्मू और कश्मीर में 15.34 फीसदी वोटिंग दर्ज की गई है और मध्य प्रदेश में 54.17 फीसदी मतदान प्रतिशत रिकॉर्ड किया गया है. राजस्थान में 50.40 फीसदी और उत्तर प्रदेश में 44.79 फीसदी वोटिंग प्रतिशत रिकॉर्ड किया गया है. पश्चिम बंगाल में 62.84 फीसदी और झारखंड में 58.63 फीसदी वोटिंग रिकॉर्ड की गई है.
