Lalganj: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Neelam Sonkar from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 63086 votes. The polling / voting in Lalganj constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Nilam Sonkar and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Sangeeta
Lalganj 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.
