Kaiserganj: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 78218 votes. The polling / voting in Kaiserganj constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, MP and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Chandra Dev Ram Yadav

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

The voters gave their mandate in favour of Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Vinod Kumar Alias Pandit Singh by a margin of 78218 votes.

• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Samajwadi Party candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 12660 votes. Here, Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad Verma attained 219920 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Arif Mohammad Khan bagged 207260 votes
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Samajwadi Party candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 51559 votes SP candidate Beni Prasad Verma had got 233934 while BJP got Chamundeshwri Pratap Chand Alias C.P.Chandsingh votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Samajwadi Party candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 24971 votes. Here, Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad Verma attained 264369 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Ghanshyam Shukla bagged 239398 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Samajwadi Party candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 23923 votes. Here, Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad Verma attained 203490 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Laxmi Narain Mani Tripathi bagged 179567 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated JP candidate with a difference of 42553 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Laxmi Narain Mani Tripathi attained 175495 votes and JP candidate Maulana Siraj Ahamed bagged 132942 votes
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 3827 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated LKD candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Rana Vir Singh attained 179948 votes and LKD's Beri Prasad Verma bagged 63118 votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP(S) candidate with a difference of 33462 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Rana Bir Singh attained 112837 votes and JNP(S) candidate Masoodul Hasan Nomani bagged 79375 votes
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Rudra Sen attained 190807 votes and INC's Kunwar Rudra Pratap Singh bagged 66011 votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between BJS and INC here BJS candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 2598 votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate had defeated SWA candidate by a margin of 70416 votes BJS candidate S. Nayar had got 116371 while SWA got B. Kunwar votes.
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, SWA candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 41133 votes. Here, SWA leader Basant Kunwari attained 109907 votes and INC candidate Bhagwandin bagged 68774 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 30760 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Bhagwan Din attained 93579 votes and IND candidate Mohammad Saadat Ali Khan bagged 62819 votes

यवतमाळ शहरातील ताज कुशन मेकरच्या दुकानात 11 तलवारी आढळल्याने खळबळ उडाली आहे. पांढरकवडा मार्गावर जिन्नाद खान बशीर खान उर्फ सलीम याचे ताज कुशन मेकरचे दुकान असून या ठिकाणी मोठ्या प्रमाणात शस्त्रसाठा असल्याची माहिती पोलिसांना मिळाली होती. त्यानुसार स्थानिक गुन्हे शाखेच्या पथकाने याठिकाणी जाऊन पंचासमक्ष झडती घेतली असता दुकानात 11 मोठ्या तलवारी आढळून आल्या. बेकायदेशीरपणे बाळगलेल्या या तलवारी जप्त करून हा शस्त्रसाठा नेमका कशासाठी बाळगण्यात आला याबाबत पोलिसांनी पुढील तपास सुरु केला आहे.
