Kadapa: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Y.S. Avinash Reddy from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) won the elections by a margin of 190323 votes. The polling / voting in Kadapa constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telugu Desam Party#s Adinarayana Reddy and YSR Congress Party#s Y.S Avinash Reddy

Kadapa 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telugu Desam Party won 15 out of the 25 parliamentary seat with 29.1 percent vote share while the YSR Congress Party managed to win just 8 seats with a 28.9 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Kadapa Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 77.43% Lok Sabha percent with 76.96% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 77.89% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 6058 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 14 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Kadapa, 12 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Y.S. Avinash Reddy of the YSR Congress Party as he defeated Srinivasa Reddy Reddeppagari by a margin of 190323 votes.

• 2009 Lok Sabha Elections: In 15th Lok Sabha poll, YSR Congress Party candidate defated Telugu Desam Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, YSRCP candidate Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy attained 542611 votes and TDP's Palem Srikanth Reddy bagged 363765 votes.
