Janjgir-Champa: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Kamla Patle from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 174961 votes. The polling / voting in Janjgir-Champa constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Guharam Ajgale and Congress Party#s Ravi bhardwaj

Janjgir-Champa 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 10 out of the 11 parliamentary seat with 48.7 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 1 seats with a 38.4 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 61.77% Lok Sabha percent with 62.74% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 60.76% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 18438 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 15 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Janjgir-Champa, 13 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Kamla Patle of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Prem Chand Jayasi by a margin of 174961 votes.
