Jahanabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Arun Kumar from Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) won the elections by a margin of 42340 votes. The polling / voting in Jahanabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Janata Dal (United)#s Chandreshwar Prasad Chandravanshi and Rashtriya Janata Dal#s Surendra Yadav

Jahanabad 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 22 out of the 40 parliamentary seat with 29.4 percent vote share while the Lok Janshakti Party managed to win just 6 seats with a 6.4 percent vote share.

  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate had defeated SAP candidate by a margin of 58907 votes RJD candidate Surendra Prasad Yadav had got 355322 while SAP got Arun Kumar votes.
