Hamirpur: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Kunwar Pushpendra Singh Chandel from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 266788 votes. The polling / voting in Hamirpur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Pushpendra Singh Chandel, MP and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Dilip Kumar Singh

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

સાઉથ આફ્રિકા સામે ઇગ્લેન્ડનો 104 રને વિજય થયો હતો. 312 રનના લક્ષ્યાંકનો પીછો કરવા ઉતરેલી સાઉથ આફ્રિકાની આખી ટીમ 39.5 ઓવરમાં 207 રન પર ઓલઆઉટ થઇ ગઇ હતી. ટીમ તરફથી સૌથી વધુ રન ક્વિન્ટન ડી કોકે (68) રન બનાવ્યા હતા. ડુસૈને 50 અને ફેહલુકવેઓએ 24 રનની ઇનિંગ રમી હતી. ઇગ્લેન્ડ તરફથી આર્ચરે સૌથી વધુ ત્રણ વિકેટ લીધી હતી.

વર્લ્ડકપ 2019ની પ્રથમ મેચમાં ઇગ્લેન્ડે સાઉથ આફ્રિકાને જીતવા માટે 312 રનનો પડકાર આપ્યો છે. ઇગ્લેન્ડ તરફથી બેન સ્ટોક્સ (89), ઇયોન મોર્ગન (57), જેસન રોય (54) અને જો રુટ (51)એ અડધી સદી ફટકારી હતી. ઇગ્લેન્ડે 50 ઓવરમાં આઠ વિકેટના નુકસાન પર 311 રન ફટકાર્યા હતા. સાઉથ આફ્રિકા તરફથી લુંગી એન્ગિડીએ ત્રણ વિકેટ ઝડપી હતી. જ્યારે ઇમરાન તાહિર અને રબાડાએ બે-બે વિકેટ ઝડપી હતી.

ઇમરાન તાહિરે કેપ્ટન મોર્ગનને 57 રને (60) માર્કરમના હાથમાં ઝીલાવી દીધો, આ સાથે આફ્રિકાને ચોથી સફળતા મળી હતી. ઇંગ્લેન્ડના ચારેય બેટ્સમેનોએ ફિફ્ટી ફટકારી હતી, ઇંગ્લેન્ડનો સ્કૉર 37 ઓવરમાં 4 વિકેટે 217 રને પહોંચ્યો
