Gwalior: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Narendra Singh Tomar from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 29699 votes. The polling / voting in Gwalior constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Vivek Sejwalkar and Congress Party#s Ashok Singh

Gwalior 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

Out of the 21 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Gwalior, 19 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Narendra Singh Tomar of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Ashok Singh by a margin of 29699 votes.

Here, Indian National Congress leader Ramsevak Singh ( Babuji) attained 246467 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya bagged 210603 votes
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 83116 votes BJP candidate Jaibhan Singh Pavaiya had got 254486 while INC got Chandra Mohan Nagori votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 26279 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia attained 284365 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Jaybhan Singh Pavaiya bagged 258086 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, MPVC candidate defated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, MPVC candidate Madhavrao Scindhiya attained 337539 votes and BSP's Phool Singh Baraiya bagged 113545 votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 99056 votes INC candidate Madhav Rao Scindia had got 195212 while BJP got Shejwalkar N.K. votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Madhava Rao Scindiya Jeewaji Rao attained 279799 votes and BJP's Sheetla Saha bagged 130374 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Madhavrao Jiwajirao Scindia attained 307735 votes and BJP's Atal Behari bagged 132141 votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, JNP candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 25480 votes. Here, JNP leader Narayan Krishnarao Shejwalkar attained 143616 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Rajendra Singh bagged 118136 votes
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Narayan Krishna Shejwalker attained 219838 votes and INC's Sumer Singh bagged 67646 votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate had defeated INC candidate by a margin of 70310 votes BJS candidate Atal Bihari Vajpayee had got 188995 while INC got Gautam Sharma votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha poll, BJS candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BJS candidate R. Avtar attained 193614 votes and INC's Vaidehicharan bagged 45147 votes.
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated JS candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Vijaya Raje Scindia attained 173171 votes and JS's Manik Chandra bagged 24351 votes.

• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, HMS candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 11057 votes. Here, HMS leader V. G. Deshpande attained 65695 votes and INC candidate Vaidehi Charan Parashar bagged 54638 votes

आसानसोल से बीजेपी के सिटिंग एमपी बाबुल सुप्रियो ने इस बार भी अपनी मौजूदा लोकसभा सीट से 1 लाख 97 हजार 637 वोटों से जीत दर्ज कर चुके हैं. उन्होंने 6 लाख 32 हजार 727 वोटों हासिल किए.

पश्चिम बंगाल में बोलपुर से कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार असित कुमार मल 90 हजार 389 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं. वहीं बर्धवान-दुर्गापुर से एस एस अहालुवालिया बीजेपी के उम्मीदवार 519 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं. कूच बिहार में बीजेपी निशिथ प्रमाणिक 54690 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं. दार्जलिंग से बीजेपी के राजु बिस्ता 3 लाख 49 हजार 233 वोटों से आगे चल रहे हैं.
