Delhi: AAP MLAsTo Meet At Kejriwal's Residence Today To Pick Legislature Party Leader
Kejriwal will interact with the newly elected MLAs post the party’s landslide win and the party’s Leader of Legislature Party will be chosen by the MLAs.
New Delhi: A day after sweeping the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party meet will take place at the residence of the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday morning.
Kejriwal who is all set for another CM term, has scheduled the meeting at 11:00 am at his residence where he will interact with the newly elected MLAs post the party’s landslide win and the party’s Leader of Legislature Party will be chosen by the MLAs.
An AAP leader said the party was considering two dates for the oath-taking ceremony of the chief minister February 14 and February 16. Both in 2013 and 2015, Kejriwal had taken oath as chief minister on February 14. However, it has not yet decided on a venue for the oath-taking ceremony.
After the selection of the Leader of Legislature Party, Lt Governor Anil Baijal will be apprised about it. Thereafter, a notification will be issued.

As the AAP cruised to victory, leaders cutting across party lines including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi (Congress), Sharad Pawar (NCP), Mamata Banerjee (TMC), Naveen Patnaik (BJD) and MK Stalin (DMK) congratulated Kejriwal for the historic win.
