In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 17 out of the 28 parliamentary seat with 43 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 9 seats with a 40.8 percent vote share.

गंगा पर बोट यात्रा के लिए प्रियंका गांधी नाव पर पर पहुंची, थोड़ी देर में शुरू होगी बोट यात्रा. नाव पर कुछ छात्र-छात्राएं भी मौजूद हैं. प्रियंका गांधी के साथ हाल ही में बीजेपी छोड़कर काग्रेस में शामिल हुईं साबित्रि बाई फुले भी मौजूद हैं.
